Commercial Video 5+ Year Partnership

The Context

Over the past five-plus years, Element 7 has partnered closely with Comcast and their creative agency, Mnemonic, supporting a wide range of commercial productions across broadcast, digital, and social platforms. What began as a straightforward production relationship has evolved into a deeply integrated partnership — one built on trust, consistency, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality work at scale. Together, we’ve supported everything from local business advertising to large-scale commercial campaigns series and public service initiatives across the Pacific Northwest.

The Challenge

Comcast operates at volume. Their commercial work spans countless brands, markets, timelines, and creative requirements — often with fast turnarounds tied to campaign air dates or shifting promotional needs. Each project brings its own set of brand guidelines, delivery specs, approval processes, and logistical variables. The ongoing challenge wasn’t just execution — it was alignment. Maintaining creative quality and consistency across repeated engagements, while adapting to new clients, evolving briefs, and last-minute pivots, required a production partner who could operate as an extension of the agency rather than an external vendor.

Without that continuity, communication slows, creative confidence erodes, and valuable time is lost re-teaching workflows, specs, and expectations.

Our Approach

Element 7 integrates directly into Mnemonic and Comcast’s creative ecosystem. Over time, our role has grown from crewing and capture support into an end-to-end production partner — trusted across pre-production, production, post, and, when needed, creative ideation and direction. On larger campaigns, we are consulted early to help shape production approach, refine storytelling, and identify efficient ways to bring scripts and concepts to life. On high-volume local business campaigns, we operate with a turnkey mindset — handling crewing, gear, lighting, and capture so Comcast’s creative leads can focus on the bigger picture. Brand consistency is maintained through care and continuity. While Comcast’s clients span many industries and identities, our team adapts quickly — researching brand guidelines, sampling visual language, and building graphics in-house to match each client’s look and feel. Past projects are archived indefinitely, allowing campaigns to be revisited, refreshed, or expanded without starting from scratch. Fast turnarounds and pivots are handled through availability, responsiveness, and trust. With an established partnership in place, Comcast receives priority support — enabling rapid starts, re-edits, and campaign updates without friction.

Production Range & Execution

Across the partnership, Element 7 has produced commercials and campaigns for a diverse mix of clients, including local businesses, public utilities, tribal organizations, and public service initiatives.

Across the partnership, Element 7 has produced commercials and campaigns for a diverse mix of clients, including local businesses, public utilities, tribal organizations, and public service initiatives.

Production scales fluidly:

Small-scale commercials are often handled by a two-person crew with nimble lighting, gimbal-based B-roll, and efficient scripted interview setups.

Larger campaigns and series involve deeper pre-production support, location scouting and permitting, talent casting assistance, and expanded crews tailored to the creative scope.

Honorable Mentions

Vancouver Fire Department - Public Safety Announcement Series

Element 7 has supported multiple public safety campaigns for the Vancouver Fire Department, built around stylized, skit-based storytelling designed to capture attention while delivering clear fire safety messaging.

Noir Series:

A 1950s film-noir inspired PSA that uses heightened style, dramatic lighting, and period-specific visual language to reframe fire safety education in an unexpected and engaging way.

Western Series:

A tongue-in-cheek Old West–themed campaign that leans into humor and character to make critical safety information approachable and memorable.

Both series demonstrate Element 7’s ability to flex creative muscles and frame concepts with clarity to ensure that an important message lands without losing the entertainment value that makes viewers stop and watch.

Puyallup Tribe of Indians — Environmental PSA Campaign

For the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, Element 7 assisted Comcast in producing a dual-format campaign that paired 30-second broadcast spots with long-form documentary-style pieces, both centered on environmental stewardship and conservation efforts.

The broadcast spot delivered a concise, high-impact message for wide audiences, while the longer documentary counterpart allowed space to explore initiatives, land stewardship, and -most importantly- the people who make these efforts possible in greater depth.

The Result

The long-term partnership between Comcast, Mnemonic, and Element 7 has created consistency, efficiency, and confidence across commercial production. Questions disappear. Workflows are understood. Creative collaboration becomes easier — and more enjoyable.

By removing uncertainty around execution and quality, Element 7 allows Comcast and their agency partners to move faster, think bigger, and focus on what matters most: delivering effective commercials.
